If you start the video at the end of unit 3 at about 4 minutes, 35 seconds, he says that the circuit resistance is not just 32 ohms, but 32 plus 5 ohms, and goes on to show the new calculation of circuit current compared to the calculation before there was a loose connection. (The example in the video has slightly different values for ohms.)
Watch that again and see if it’s clearer for you.
