Hi Larry,

Do you know the configuration of the two loads that we’re asking about? (The two heaters in the freezer.) The term “equivalent resistance” is a big clue, as we only use it to refer to a particular arrangement of loads.

If you know the rule of thumb for equivalent resistance, you’ll know how to answer this question.
