These are two loads in series. Will each one drop 240v? Because that’s what you are trying to do with the way you’re using that formula for P.
There’s a different way to calculate P for this scenario that I think is more straightforward. Look at the video at the end of Unit 3 (the loose connection one) – it’s very similar to this.
