    Hi Ryan,

    Yes, you’re on the right track! A voltage measurement at the relay board is the correct thing to do. Here are a couple things I should point out:

    First, making a voltage measurement with your meter isn’t the same thing as making a voltage measurement with a voltage light stick. The light stick can be used as a preliminary test to get a feel for the situation, but never as a conclusive measurement. It’s simply not reliable enough. A voltage measurement with your meter, however, will conclusively tell you whether or not voltage is present, and how much voltage.

    Second, pay attention to which test points you’re using, and make sure that they correspond to the ignitor you’re testing.
