I’d like to help step you through this by going back and forth with a few questions.
One of the things to think about here is the difference between voltage (as in, “potential” voltage) and voltage drop.
Do you understand the difference between those terms?
When you are measuring across a load, such as an element, and get zero volts, do you know the significance of that?
P.S. to anyone else reading this: the video at the end of Mod. 3 Unit 6 is similar, but not identical, to a question on the midterm.
