I believe you made a slight mistake when reading the data from the Danfoss app — for R404A, 87 psig corresponds to a saturation temp of 41F, which is exactly what our measured temperature is. The refrigerant in the evaporator is right where it’s supposed to be: at saturation, absorbing heat and changing phase.
