Nevermind. thermistor temperature would tell me what the saturation temperature inside the evap coils should be.
Correct — the thermistor tells you the temperature of the evaporator, and the refrigerant in the evaporator coil should be at saturation temperature (if the machine is operating correctly). You can use this temperature to determine the pressure in the evaporator coil.
